Shenzi (character)

Shenzi (Swahili for 'uncouth', 'savage', 'demon' or 'barbarous') is one of the hyena trio in The Lion King; the other two are Banzai and Ed. Shenzi acts as the leader of the pack in their dealings with Scar.

The character was voiced by Whoopi Goldberg.
