Sb Heuixis

SB Heuixis, or just Heuixis, also known as DJ Heuixis (real name Ben Wright; Born on April 11, 2001, in Placentia, Calfornia, USA), is a fursuit maker and dubstep producer who has lived in Greeley, Colorado since 2019 and grew up in San Diego, California.

Biography

SB Heuixis was adopted at birth by Jerry M. Wright and Shelly B. Wright. His biological parents are Vanessa "Nessa" Burch and Christopher Yost. Dropping out of college twice and quitting multiple jobs to follow his passions he has had quite the journey to make his dreams into reality.

Producing under the name Heuixis (and DJ Heuixis) has released 4 official albums and 5 unofficial albums. Studying music production since he was 7 years old and working at Studio West in San Diego, CA, he has learned a lot and still plans on learning. SB also started his own production company named Pacific Sunrise Productions, which includes a record label named AC!DLAZR, a group of YouTubers, 3D artists and traditional artists. He is currently working on a passion project under the name ESCAPE THE FREEDOM! in making a metalcore album.

In 2021, SB started professionally making fursuits under the name Heuixis Crafts.

In 2022, SB renamed his business to Vixens & Co. and continues to take clients. During an episode of tics he caused himself to go mute. There’s no sign if he will remain mute or if his speech will come back. For the time being he has learned ASL, and is now working on adapting asl to work while in suit calling this project "furry sign language".

Fandom involvement

SB has stated that he always has felt like a furry since he was young but didn't find the community for many years. SB joined the community in mid-2013 when he stumbled upon a YouTube video of Garret Claridge playing the drums in suit. He made SB 1.0 after finding a video explaining how to make a fursona from the creator Vix N dwnq. He quickly made 1.1 after realizing that he wanted different colors. SB 2.0 came to him when he went to make himself his second fursuit and didn't want to put in the effort to sew all the different markings and colors together.

In 2016, SBs biological father, Christopher Yost, was murdered in what is now known as the Fullerton triple homicide carried out by the ex-boyfriend of Katlynn Yost. Not only was this very depressing for him, his adoptive parents then disapproved of the furry fandom. He says that they threw out most of his furry stuff, but he would sneak out at night and dumpster dive to get them back. His parents are now supporting of him and his interests and he says that his mom now has a fursona named Meadow Reindeer.

Characters

SB is his fursona and is no different in suit than he is out. In 2019, he bought several adopts including Nanners the fox, Macchiato Wolf, and an unnamed Dutch angel dragon. He also designed a character based on the cigarette brand Marlboro and fittingly his name is Marlboro fox also nicknamed Red.

Vixens & Co.

In 2021, SB started taking fursuit commissions under the name of heuixis crafts. He also is an admin for the Greeley furmeet started October 2021 and is working closely with the other admins to make sure things go smoothly.

In 2022, SB renamed his fursuit making business to Vixens & Co. making a website and filing a DBA with the state of Colorado and continues to take on clients.

In 2023, SB had a massive depressive episode, stopped taking clients very slowly working on his commissions, and completing a single one.

In 2024, SB filed his company as an llc, and filed all the licenses to operate as an llc in the state of Colorado. On his website he added a Square store where he currently sells stickers, mystery fursuit parts (under the name SurpriseMe!), and 'M&C Packages' which he says "M&C packages are so that you can make one purchase for as many cleanings and repairs as you need". He connected his invoicing software to allow for online payments through Square. He plans on complete all his current commissions by the end of February and open commissions. His quote form on his site has remained open stating "quotes are always open".
