Rue Tallida

Rue Tallida, also known as Konotashi and Roo (real name Marissa Pummill; March 26, 1993[1] in Fayetteville, Arizona, USA - October 18, 2014),[2] was a furry artist, fursuiter, and fursuit-maker who lived in Mesa, Arizona, USA.[3]

Biography[edit]

Rue dedicated her spare time and home to temporarily foster and shelter cats[4] while they waited for other families to give them a stable home. She was taking her final college course requirements to enlist in the U.S. Navy.[4]

Fandom involvement[edit]

Rue had recently become part of the Phoenix Furs community,[4] and had been making fursuits with her mother and going to multiple meet-ups to find others who loved animals and their fursonas as much as she did. While she was new to the community, she was easily loved and made many friends.[4]

Fursona[edit]

Rue Tallida's fursona was a German Shepherd-Arcanine-African Wild Dog hybrid.[5]

Death[edit]

Rue Tallida passed away in Mesa, Arizona on October 22, 2014.[4][6]
