Rotarr (born January 16)[1] is a furry artist who lives in Vienna, Austria.[2] She has been married to Wolfy-Nail since November 23, 2012.[1]

Along with Wolfy-Nail, Rotarr was a guest of honour at ConFurgence 2017.[3]

Fursonas[edit]

Rotarr's main fursona is a housefly.[1][4] She chose this species as she used to draw a little cartoon fly as a child. This was her first ever character and it "kinda sticked" to her. She also loves the many aspects a fly can have, finding them "stupid, silly, funny, disgusting, creepy, and so on".

Rotarr tried to add a little "cute" to the character, and feels that it is the animal that represents her most - she, too, is "small, annoying and (loves) to eat sweet things". She loves the dark sides of flies; their connection to the Devil (Beelzebub - Lord of the Flies), their association with death and decay, and how they can make new (unwanted?) life out of rotten things.

Rotarr has two alternative fursonas,[1] which depict her as a cat[5] and a dragon.[6] She also has a monster/demon character named Sharin.[1][7]
