Romance in the Savannah MUCK was an adult-themed roleplay MUCK loosely based on The Lion King. It was founded by Adia in September 2006 when The Lion King MUCK changed their policies, banning all forms of TinySex on their server.
Romance in the Savannah MUCK went offline at the end of April 2007 when drives failed at the host server; the MUCK was restored on May 25, 2007. The MUCK frequently went down for several days at a time afterward, until permanently going offline in February 2008. There were plans to possibly restart the MUCK if the original files were found and a new host located.
In mid-October 2009 Heat on the Serengeti launched, which could be considered a spiritual successor to Romance in the Savannah.
