Rocky Mountain Fur Con 2008 was the second incarnation of Rocky Mountain Fur Con, taking place on the weekend of May 23-25, 2008, in Denver, Colorado.
Rocky Mountain Fur Con 2008 was held at the Hyatt Regency in Denver. Blotch and LatinVixen were the guests of honor. The final official attendance was 319, including 40 fursuiters.[1]
The theme for 2008 was "The Urban Wilderness".[2] Blotch and LatinVixen were the Guests of Honor. The official final attendance was 319 according to [1] as of 13 July 2008. Despite 35% growth, the event failed to meet its hotel room block, and faced a $30,000 debt. Sorin Kat later stated that all of the con's debts save one had been paid off and last had been greatly reduced due to donations by local furs. As of August 2012, the convention does not have any outstanding debt.
