"Raise A Glass" is the sixth single by Canadian-Italian singer Cassidy Civet, and featuring Pepper Coyote as her first featured collaborator. Written by Cassidy herself while at home during COVID, during the brief April 2021 period where everything seemed to be getting better. The song depicts the feelings of reuniting with loved ones and friends after so long apart, and choosing not to live in the heartache and loneliness of the past. She reached out to Pepper and asked him to contribute to the song, adding his guitar, bass, drums and vocals. Cassidy would add an orchestra section and her brother's electric guitar to the recording as well. The song was also included on Cassidy's second album cruel oasis, but only her on lead vocals throughout.

At one point in the song a faint jingling can be heard, which is the collar of her beloved dog Sharpie, who had passed away the day before she went into the studio to record her original vocals. The original collab version took three days in the studio to record, mix and master.

The song was first performed at Megaplex 2021 prior to release, as well as at Tails And Tornadoes Fur Con 2021 and Anthro Northwest 2021. The single would go on to break multiple of Cassidy's own records, including most streams in a single day, week or month upon release. The song even received some radio play.
