RainFurrest 2008, the second RainFurrest, was on September 26-28, 2008 at the Seattle Airport Marriott. The theme was "Flight".[1] The artist guest of honor was Werepuppy.[2]
The final count said at the closing ceremonies was 599, with 89 in the fursuit parade. "More than $1000" was donated to the Ferret Rescue Society.

Events included Fursuit Masquerade, Pet Auction, Plushie Costume contest, Ice Cream Social, and Gaming.[3]
Dances[edit]
The dances were from 9PM to 2AM Friday and Saturday.[4]
- Friday: Digi-fox and Jango (fursuit friendly from 9-11)
- Saturday: EarVelvet and Angel (fursuit friendly from 10-11)
