Pushed to Talk was a weekly podcast devoted to computer gaming, hosted by Toronto furries Blastgoggles, Verace, and Hiker that ran from July 2009 to December 2014.
Broadcast History[edit]
The show was broadcasted most Sunday nights at 9 p.m. EST, with streaming video and live text chat. It was originally hosted by Ustream from July 2009 to August 2011 and was then moved to Livestream where it continued to be hosted from September 2011 until it's last show on December 14, 2014 when Hiker announced he was quitting the show for good.[1]
Show Format[edit]
1st Half[edit]
The podcast usually lasted a little over an hour, starting with recent controversies or surprising developments in computer gaming news. Specific topics would be discussed next, sometimes taking calls from listeners.
2nd Half[edit]
The second half of the show was an in-depth review of a free or affordable indie game. Each host scored the game out of 10 and gave their reasoning in the following categories:
- Presentation
- Gameplay
- Replayability
- Graphics
- Sound
- Overall
Depending on how late the show ran for, additional topics or callers would follow.
