Pressed Fur
From WikiFur, the furry encyclopedia.
The Pressed Fur group was formed in response to the increasing mainstream press attention the subculture was receiving in the early 2000's, including the Vanity Fair article and the MTV Sex2K episode. The group attempted to catalogue each appearance of furry in the press and rate the pros and cons of the appearance. The group attempted to be as neutral as possible in their ratings.
Activity on their website seems to have died in late 2002, and the website now consists mainly of broken links.
Did you know? One of furry artist Kenket's sketchbooks takes on the idea of "pressed fur" literally: its main theme is furries squished between the pages of a book.
