Paws on Fire is the first 1 versus 1 dancing competition during Eurofurence. As Part of Eurofurence it is a second Dance Event, together with the already existing Enter the Arena. Paws on Fire features a Non-Suit Division and a Fursuit Division. The first Event started during Eurofurence 22, with a huge success. A filled-to-the-brim Room, 6 Non-Suiters and 8 Fursuiters giving their all on the Dance Floor, it was certainly off to a good start.
The Event itself was organized by Faolan, Wolvinny, LeonTheFox, Sheppy, FreesTyler and EosFoxx, with the latter also being host and Non-Suit participant in the Battle. Accompanied by Stripe as DJ, Leon the Fox, HighDefinition and Skrat as Judges and many, many volounteers to assist with all the fur exhausting themselves on the Floor.
The Music is always randomly selected from a prepared playlist, featuring various types and genres of Music. Participants have a chance to downvote a song once to get a new one, though only if both participants on the floor agree to downvote. Paws on Fire works on a K.O. System, three judges decide who did the best performance, with the successor moving on, whilst the loser drops out. The Starting Numbers are also randomly picked.
