OwOmaCon was an online furry convention based in Omaha, Nebraska, which took place on October 24-25, 2020. The theme for the convention is "Halloween in the Heartland". Registration was free, but members were encouraged to donate to the Brown County Humane Society of Kansas. YouTube was used for live-streaming, Discord and Telegram was used for communication, and VRChat was also utilised a virtual platform.
OwOmaha still maintains an active community of furries from Nebraska, and west Iowa after the events of the convention.
