Open Realms
From WikiFur, the furry encyclopedia.
Open Realms was a short-lived 3D environment with furry avatars, billed as "a virtual world where you are open to build, socialize and express your inner creativity." It was created by Chase Grozdina[1] and "David".[2]
First launched as a closed beta on 3 May 2011, the team had a table at Anthrocon 2011 and launched an open beta on 27 June 2011. Updates continued through the next month; the last Twitter announcement was a maintenance notification that October. As of 2013, the domain redirects to Forge Quest, a non-furry game of a similar nature apparently created by Chase.
