Nip

A nip (as a furry form of affection) is the act of nipping, i.e. pinching, squeezing, or biting sharply, somebody as a form of greeting, endearment, or sexual foreplay.
As with other forms of furry personal greeting and/or affection, it's considered bad form to try this on strangers, or those furs or fans of fur not comfortable with the idea or the act.
This is commonly misspelled as nisp.[citation needed] 'Nisp'-ing has thus become interchangable with nipping.
