WikiFur has launched a French-language version.[1] Requested by RainRat, the new wiki has similar objectives and licensing as the English version, so articles can be directly translated between sites. It is hosted by the same wiki farm, Wikia.
This new wiki marks the third language link for WikiFur, the second being TurriWiki, a Finnish language wiki launched by SlvWolf in February 2005 and linked with WikiFur in June 2006.[2] WikiFur itself started in late July 2005,[3] and contains over 6,500 articles.[4]
