Neouka

Neouka /niː.ˈəʊ.kæ/ (born September 10, 1983)[1] is a fursuiter who resides near Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada.[1] His character, Neouka Orca, is an anthropomorphic, bipedal Orca. Neouka discovered the fandom in 2002, and has attended seven furry conventions since July 2004. He once worked as a themepark mascot.
Neouka has several fursuit characters:[1]
- Baku, a jaguar who debuted at Anthrocon 2004.
- Kiyo, a scarlet macaw whose first appearance was at Midwest FurFest 2004.
- Sydney, a kangaroo who was built by Arend Studios and debuted at Midwest FurFest 2009. During Further Confusion 2010, Sydney and other fursuits were photographed for the article Fine furry friends meet at the Fairmont, which appeared in the January 25 edition of the San Jose Mercury News.[2]
- Kimani, a female lion.
Neouka used to cosplay as Gilda the griffon, a character from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. One of his appearances as Gilda became famous in news websites when he danced with Syrian refugee children at VancouFur 2016.[3][4]
