Nara (real name Nara Uusihanni, born July 12, 1991) is a Finnish anthro artist.

Though Nara used to draw herself as a black wolfdog for years, her fursona is now an American Pit Bull Terrier of Old Family Red Nose bloodlines. Her main coat colour is light rusty orange with white "socks" on each leg and a white marking on chest. She has blue eyes and usually red short hair. Her fursona also has two big snaggly canine teeth. Nara's other often used character is Korso, who is an anthro-version of a human character from the animation Titan A.E. Korso is 50% German Shepherd and 50% American Pitbull Terrier.

Artwork[edit]

Most of Nara's artwork is done with traditional media; colour pencils, acrylics, gouache, and watercolours. She usually does strong and visible lineart and her way of drawing anatomy (eg. big hands/paws, long fur, muscular anatomy, huge fangs, lips and claws) makes her art easy to recognise. Nara's art is strongly canine-based, mostly anthropomorphic or quadrupedal animals. Her favourite subjects are wolves, sabre-toothed tigers, crocodiles, big cats and dogs. Most of her art is rated G, but she also has some mature-content pictures including gore, nudity or sexual content. Nara's affinity for older men and military often reflects in her art.
