NV Furs
The Nevada Fur Chat, or NV Furs, is a Telegram group for furs living in or visiting the U.S. state of Nevada. The current iteration of the chat was created on November 21, 2016. While the group is technically for all of Nevada, most of its activities are centered on Las Vegas; the group has many affiliate chats for sub-interests (e.g. crafts, shooting ranges, etc.) as well as geographic locations (e.g. North Las Vegas Furs, Henderson Furs, etc.). While technically for all of Nevada, the chat tends to be focused on Las Vegas due to Reno Furries operating as a separate group for those in Reno and Northern Nevada.
As of July 1st, 2021, the main group has 448 members. Many of its members are also part of the Las Vegas Furs Facebook group.
Events[edit]
NV Furs has a monthly furmeet at Sunset Park in Paradise, NV on the first Saturday of every month from 7 to 11 PM. There are often irregular furmeets held by various members.
Since late 2019, North Las Vegas Furs, Hendertucky Furs, and Rebel Anthropomorphic Works and Recreation (RAWR) has begun holding regular furmeets in North Las Vegas, Henderson, and on the UNLV campus, respectively.
