Mine Fire Fur Meet

Mine Fire Fur Meet (MFFM) was a furmeet organized by Xydexx held on May 10, 2003 in Pennsylvania. It was attended by 13 furries from various states, as far South as Virginia and as far North as New York.
The itinerary/activities for Mine Fire Fur Meet included:
- Meeting for lunch at the Dutch Kitchen Restaurant in nearby Frackville, PA
- The Pioneer Tunnel Coal Mine Tour in Ashland, PA
- A visit to Centralia, PA, the mostly-abandoned town with the underground mine fire that's been burning since 1962.
- Hunting for the two geocaches hidden in Centralia.

Mine Fire Fur Meet II happened on July 24, 2006. It included the usual lunch at the Dutch Kitchen Restaurant, tour of the Pioneer Tunnel Coal Mine, visit to Centralia, and then ending the day at Knoebel's Amusement Resort.
