Mealeandia (1997-2004) was a popular dragon community within Yahoo!'s Ayenee roleplay community. It was founded by Christian "Geialon" Jensen and at its height boasted several dozen dragon members.
Mealeandia was organized around the concept that there was a floating island of dragons, ruled by sacred Gemstones that had divided up the land into various biomes, each according to its corresponding Gemstone. There were seven known Gemstones and Geialon was the keeper of the Green Gemstone, which was also the Master Gemstone, giving him the rank of High Gemkeeper.
In 2004, Jensen shut down the site due to waning interest and the land was explained off as having crumbled to the earth below.
