Mark Stanley has been a contributor to several furry publications, webcomics, fanzines, and APAs, including Jeff Ferris' Yarf! The Journal of Applied Anthropomorphics, the Cross Time Cafe comic project, and MU Press' Zu, among others

Mark Stanley is the creator and author of the webcomic Freefall, which also includes the character of Florence Ambrose, a notable fandom original character.

Along with being nominated for the UMAs, Mark Stanley won the 2001 Web Cartoonists' Choice Awards in the Outstanding Science Fiction Comic category for his work with Freefall,[1] and was a nominee again in that category in 2002, 2005 and 2006.
