Iterations[edit]
Little Island Furcon 2019[edit]
The first Little Island Furcon took place over June 8-9, 2019 at Oasia Hotel Novena, Singapore. The theme was Oasis.[2] The Guests of Honor were Fox Amoore and Pepper Coyote.[3]
The event attracted approximately 150 attendees in its first year, with 50 of them being fursuiters[4]; there were 43 in the group shot.
Little Island Furcon 2020[edit]
The upcoming Little Island Furcon will take place over July 4-5, 2020 at Genting Hotel Jurong, Singapore, and will be themed Swords & Sorcery.[5] The Guest of Honor for the second iteration of the convention will be Zephyxus, who will be releasing an art book called 'Beast Soul' during the convention.[6]
Early bird registrations opened on February 1, 2020 and are available on the convention website[7] until March 21, 2020[8]. Three tiers are available for interested participants, namely, Attendee, Sponsor and Super Sponsor tiers.
Due to measures implemented by the Singapore government in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, registrations have been limited to 249 participants to comply with the new rules[9]. Additional safety measures are implemented by the committee to reassure attendees that the convention will still carry on safely.
Little Island Furcon 2021[edit]
Little Island Furcon 2021 was held online and took place November 13, 2021.
Little Island Furcon 2022 Spring[edit]
The first Little Island Furcon of 2022 took place May 21, 2022. The online convention programming was hosted over Discord and Twitch and included a Dealer’s Den, panels, VRChat, online multiplayer games, competitions, and mukbang. The theme was Techwear x Urbex. During closing ceremonies, it was announced 300 attendees had participated.
Little Island Furcon 2022 Fall[edit]
A second online convention was held on December 3, 2022[10], with the theme of Victorian Murder Mystery. LIFCO created an ARG to fit the theme and build hype for the con, with players deciphering clues hidden on LIFC's website social media posts, and Discord to uncover the identity of the titular murderer. Programming and events were similar to the previous online iteration. There were 220 attendees. At closing ceremonies, it was announced that LIFC plans to hold two annual events, a physical convention in the middle of the year and an online convention in November or December.[11]
Little Island Furcon 2023[edit]
The next in-person event is scheduled for June 10-11, 2023.[12]
