deadjackal is a furry artist from Maine. He has been associated with the fandom since late 2000 after discovering Sabrina Online by Eric Schwartz, who was an inspiration for deadjackal's early work. deadjackal first logged onto IRC with the nickname |Wolf| which stood for 'boxed lupine' or just 'boxed' according to his friends. He now goes by the name deadjackal or deejay on IRC and posts his recent work on his Fur Affinity account by the name of deadjackal.
deadjackal is a fan of Slop which is written and drawn by Mulefoot. He is also a moderator on e621.
