These are common acronyms for furry conventions; some are ambiguous.

• AAE - Anthropomorphic Arts and Education, the organizers of Further Confusion
• ABD - Abando, Brazilian camping convention (2008-)
• AC - Anthrocon, the world's largest furry con (1997-), previously had the acronym AAC (Albany AnthroCon) before it moved to Pennsylvania
• AFF - All Fur Fun, a convention held in Spokane, Washington. (2007-)
• ANE - Anthro New England, a convention held in Boston, Massachusetts. (2015-)
• AYCE - All You Can Eat, a furmeet held in Germany (2004-)
• BLFC - Biggest Little Fur Con, a convention held in Reno, Nevada. (2013-)
• C-ACE - Canadian Anthro (changed to "Art" in 2005) and Cartooning Expo (2002-2007)
• CF - Ambiguous; could be:
  • Confurence, the original furry convention (1989-2003)
  • Conifur Northwest, a Pacific Northwest furry convention (1998-2006)
  • Califur, a southern Californian regional furry convention (2004-)
• CFE - ConFurence East, a prototype east coast furry convention (1995-1996)
• CFNW - ConiFur NorthWest (this acronym not as common as "CF")
• CFT - Campfire Tails, Oregon's camping convention (2010-)
• CFz - ConFuzzled, a convention held in Birmingham, UK (2008-)
• CMFM - Cape May Fur Meet, a furmeet held in New Jersey (2000-)
• EF - Eurofurence, a convention usually held in Germany (1995-)
• FA:U - Fur Affinity United, a convention formerly held in New Jersey and Virginia, USA. (2007-2019)
• FC - Further Confusion, a convention held in California (1999-)
