Matt J. McCullar of Fort Worth, Texas, is primarily known in furry fandom as a writer. He is best known for stories featuring the musical ratel quintet known as Fornax. Matt is also a cartoonist.

Because of his tall height in real life, he uses a giraffe character named Lincoln Hightower as his fursona, especially artistically, although he usually uses his real name for con badges and the like. Lincoln appears in Matt's stories, which are set in the same universe as the Fornax stories, though the characters from the stories have never met.

Matt McCullar was a guest of honor at Midwest FurFest 2001.
