Lemurkat

LemurKat is an author and illustrator, who lives in New Zealand. She discovered the Furry community in the year 2000 and began doing art trades, art commissions and story commissions via Furbid and VCL.
Her fursona is a ring-tailed lemur, often pictured with wings and with a complicated backstory.
In 2002 she created the FurArtXchange, a competitive art trade site; followed by FurArtXchange2, which followed a secret "santa style" of swapping. Both sites are now closed.
In 2005 she began to leave the fandom behind, switching to artist trading cards and focusing more on wildlife illustrations. However, if her latest novel, "Fellowship of the Ringtails" is anything to go by, she will never, truly give it up.
