John Cole, also known as Kuddlepup (or K.P. for short), is a "pawpeteer", fursuiter, and convention staffer who lives Orlando, Florida, U.S.A.
K.P. often appears at Give Kids The World, a non-profit organization that "creates magical memories for children with life-threatening illnesses and their families."
Convention staff involvement[edit]
K.P. is a member of the Board of Directors for Anthrocon. He has served as Programming Director for Anthrocon since 2005. After the conclusion of Anthrocon 2008, he also accepted the responsibilities of Anthrocon Masquerade Director. Prior to his joining the staff of Anthrocon, K.P. was an active participant in Anthrocon Masquerade skits. Two notable performances were the "Black Shirt Group" in 2002, and the "N'Fur" performance in 2003.
He has also has been the Programming Director for Megaplex from 2002 through 2008. In 2008, he relinquished the title of Programming Director to become convention chairman for Megaplex 8. He has served as a board member for Megaplex since the convention's inception.
K.P. is currently the head of the "fandom" track at Midwest FurFest.
K.P. was selected to be the Guest of Honor at FA:United in 2011.
Puppetry and Fursuiting[edit]
K.P. is a regular member of the Funday PawPet Show crew, performing Ezra, Tod Ferret, and others. As Ezra, he is often master of ceremonies on the show.
K.P. is a well known fursuiter within the furry fandom. In addition to the Kuddlepup costume, he also owns the fursuits Jinx (a dog character created by Kodi) and Ghali (a quagga built by Arend Studios).
