John Remmer, also known as The Geist (real name Jonathan Eugene Beer, born March 05, 1992)[1], is a fursuiter and fursuit-maker who lives in Lancaster, Ohio, USA.

In April 2010, Beer was arrested on charges of sexual battery and gross sexual imposition for sexual conduct with a minor of 9 years old. Based on court records, Beer engaged in sexual conduct with a minor on multiple occasions in Blacklick, Ohio.[2]
Beer pleaded guilty in July 2010 in a plea deal to sexual battery of a minor,[citation needed] and was sentenced to three years in prison and mandated five probation after release.[citation needed]
He has been arrested on October 16, 2019, for parole violations,[citation needed] and currently awaits in prison until a parole board hearing is held.[3]
Beer was released on December, 23, 2019, currently serving parole under the conviction from 2010. [4]
