Japan Meeting of Furries 2020

The eighth Japan Meeting of Furries convention took place on January 10–12, 2020[1] again at the Loisir Hotel in Toyohashi, Aichi, Japan.[1] The theme was "Energy Drink BITERS".
Total attendance was 1372[2] and the donations amounted to 1,383,400 JPY.[3]
VR Lounge[edit]
The JMOF team re-created a virtual rendition[4] of the Loisir Hotel in Toyohashi, Aichi, Japan. While the first event was mostly attended by Japanese users, people who spoke other languages attended the VR lounge. Gimmicks of the event included a two-way livestream of attendees at the physical convention while streaming the VR Lounge at the convention in person, demonstrating one of the first examples of a hybrid convention.
