IndyFurCon 2011
IndyFurCon 2011 was the second annual IndyFurCon convention, and was held over August 12-14, 2011, at the Hilton Indianapolis North in Indianapolis, Indiana.
The convention's theme was "Furries of the Lost Ark". The guest of honor was Tincrash; he and his fiance, Leasara, held their wedding ceremony at the convention on Saturday night.
This year, the convention planners added an Art Show to their programming line up, and Whose Lion is it Anyway made a return. SemJay, one of the program's hosts who was unable to attend the convention, appeared via webcam. Uncle Kage, 2, The Ranting Gryphon and Bucktown Tiger also returned as entertainers.
The final number of attendees was 369, along with 75 fursuiters in the fursuit parade. The charity for 2011 was the Southside Animal Shelter, for which the convention raised $1,212.
