Groaties was a term to describe "female breasts" on a furry or human being coined in 1991 by furry artist Deal Whitley, using fellow artist Jim Groat's last name as part of the term, due to Groat's favoritism for the upper ventral region of a mammal's torso.
The term seems to have become obsolete after Deal Whitley's death in 1992.
