Genet

The Genet is a member of viverridae, an animal which somewhat resembles felines but is more closely related to mongooses, and which in fact possess the musk glands similar to other viverrids. There are fifteen species of genet, fourteen in the genus Genetta and one in genus Osbornictis. All but one species are native exclusively to Africa.
