Furry Weekend Atlanta 2025 is set to be the twentieth occurrence of the FWA furry convention series. The theme is "Futurepunk" which features a cyberpunk dystopian theme, designed by one of the guests of honor Jonathan Duncan.[1]
Venue[edit]
The con is set to run from Thursday, May 8 to Sunday, May 11, 2025 in Atlanta, Georgia. Like previous years it will be held at the Marriott Marquis Atlanta and The Hilton Atlanta hotels.
The room block for the hotels is expected to open around the end of October or beginning of November.[2]
Aquarium takeover[edit]
For this year, the con has partnered with the Georgia Aquarium to host a take-over on the first night of the convention. The event will run from Thursday from 7pm to 11pm and the entry fee is not included in the price of registration.[3]
Guests of honor[edit]
Three guests of honor were selected. Jonathan Duncan, a furry artist, Sasha R. Jones, an oil painter, and Red Means Recording, a Youtube channel.[1]
The convention's charity has not been officially announced as of September 9th, 2024.
