FurFright 2008
FurFright 2008 was the sixth annual FurFright, held from October 17 to 19, 2008 at the Connecticut Grand Hotel in Waterbury, Connecticut.
The Guests of Honor were Mac Dragon (performer of the character Beetlejuice in the Universal park shows) and Likeshine.[1]
This year's attendance was 873, with 146 fursuiters participating in Fursuit Parade. A total of $4000.00 was raised for the convention's charities: the no-kill shelter New Leash On Life and the Pyrenees Brown Bear protection group Pays De L’ours, and an additional $547.26 was raised for Da-fox whose fursuit head was stolen by a hotel guest.[2]

FurFright, Inc. started the year with $3974.90 in assets, all cash (and temporary cash investments). They ended the year with $2966.82 in assets, all cash. Liabilities were zero, making their gain/loss for the year $-1008.08, and their net balance $2966.82.
Their total revenue was $38538.20, all from memberships.
Their expenses came to $39591.28, of which $13420.77 was for occupancy and utilities, $1156 for labor and professional fees and $2815.72 for printing, postage and shipping.
