Just a note... intercepted a bit of info from an anti-furry group who are apparently planning a massive defacement of wikifur starting Friday 25th! They might just be boasting, but best be prepared anyway. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 82.34.94.153 (talk • contribs) .

Due to the latest vandalism by 74.119.224.18 I'm guessing the group might be an imageboard such as 4chan (unless 74.119.224.18 isn't part of the planned invasion) --EarthFurst 15:10, 23 August 2006 (UTC)

Me again... sorry about being so vague in my first post, but in my distractions elsewhere I ommited to post the link! Im just giving you an update... it seems the responsible party was from the /b/ section of the 4chan imageboard - the '/b/tards' - and that Wikifur was not their only target. After a few wiki and forum attacks, they turned on each other and provoked the wrath of the 4chan operators. A series of bans, both perminant and temporary, followed - and then the crashing of the 4chan server. Seems vandels are their own worst enemy. It will take them some time to make repairs and reform - the show of defiance is already underway, http://orz.4chan.org/n/res/33360.html - but I expect they will return some day.
