So I recently became a furry so I am new to this stuff. I am 15 and I haven't told anyone yet, i am not sure how to tell my parents because they are very judgemental and will laugh at me. They think furries are ridiculous, although I recently became one. I have no fursona or anything as i am only 15(i mentioned earlier) and they are SUPER expensive!! I would like your help with two things: 1. how do i tell my parents or should i keep it to myself?? 2. can i make my own fursona?? (maybe just the head) and how would I do this?

Very sorry it took over a year to respond... but my way of telling somebody I'm a furry is by asking them if they know what a furry is, seeing what they think of them, and correcting them or telling them what it is. You must be 16 by now! Oh, and a fursona is a character to represent yourself, and a fursuit is what you wear. You don't need a fursuit to be a furry.
