Greetings:

As per the appeal in the comic's section, I have been working on a page adding the webcomic "Deer Boy" (deerboy.net) - Saves worked fine up until I added a link reference at which point a warning popped up about new users spamming links. While I certainly understand the nature of the warning, having worked on the main english wiki for sometime, the warning is unwarrented in this case as the references are to the site. How can I resume editing on this page? (which seems now to not have been created- but the work is saved.) Please advise.

Many thanks.

Hi! First off, thanks for contributing. We do prevent new users from submitting more than a certain number of external links at once, because this helps a lot with non-furry spam. Part of the issue is that you are using external links for Wikipedia. Instead, you should use the syntax [[Wikipedia:Article name|description]]. These do not count as external links for the purposes of the spam filter. In addition, if you are adding external links within references, using <ref> tags, then it should not trigger. I have created the article Deer Boy! with your contributions and a few further tweaks. --GreenReaper(talk) 21:38, 15 September 2013 (EDT)
