I recently created wereswans article for Russian WikiFur (you can read Google translation or Swan maiden in Wikipedia, one of the sources). Swan maidens are women who can turn into (normal) swans, but also are pure and wise in swan's image. They are notable in Slavic, Norse and, incidentally, D&D mythology.

I like this image and I'd like to translate this article for English WikiFur, but I don't know if it's appropriate. After all, neither Slavic folklore nor were-community aren't big part of Western furry fandom (AFAIK). Opinions? EvilCat 10:23, 18 February 2011 (UTC)
