Okay, I always was a awkward and introverted person and I knew I had somethign different running, Now I find this website, mostly by mistake, and it all... clicks for me really. It just makes sense all of the sudden, I understood myself so much better and I made sense to myself. But of course I did the one thing that happens to all 17ish year olds when a paradigm shift like this happens, I melted down a little. Now I'm calm and I still have some questions. I've always loved werewolves, even before I really knew what they are, and I almost exclusively play tauren (minotaurs) in World of Warcraft. You all seem very nice But I'm asking this : AmI or Am I not? It seems that I am but If i am this means quite a lot to me and I need to do some hard thinking befoe I telll anyone. Help please —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Xeans (talkcontribs) .

Well, that's really for you to decide. But speaking from personal experience and what I've heard many others say, realizing that you're not the only one who associates with animals in such a manner is almost an overwhelming experience. I assume you've seen the primary articles Furry and Furry fandom -- if not, that's definitely something to read through. Once you've decided for yourself whether or not you're going to associate with the furry (or even therian) communities, then you can focus on whether or not you even want to go public with it - most do, but you don't have to unless you feel comfortable doing such. The beauty of being furry is that you can be anybody you want to be - any species, any color, any name - so if nothing else, designing a personal character for yourself might be a nice introspective process. Good luck! =3 Spaz Kitty 00:38, 11 March 2008 (UTC)

Thanks, this is one of the most confusing things that have ever happened to me. I really really am thankful

Well, after much thought and quite some soul-searching I think that I am a furry. I still have a question though : This seems to be a comunity of artists, I know i sort of fit in here but can someone point me to the art-talent-of-a-jar-of-mayonaise sectoin please?Xeans 11:28, 11 March 2008 (UTC)

The furry community isn't just for artists - yes, by far, it is supported by them being quite a vivid visual medium, but one need not be a good visual artist to be a furry. There are a lot of people who contribute to the fandom through their writing, or even through their music; but that's never a necessity in itself, and there's certainly nothing wrong with admiring other folks' work. --Scani 12:25, 11 March 2008 (UTC)
Honestly, we're a fan community. You don't have to be able to do it, just sit back and enjoy it, perhaps giving some nice comments now and again on the works that you like. :-) --GreenReaper(talk) 23:06, 12 March 2008 (UTC)

Well, I can write a little, I'm told my Warcraft Role Plays are quite good at times, but it's admiration for now I guessXeans 12:28, 11 March 2008 (UTC)

Writing a little started this site, and I think people would see it as valuable even though it is not artwork or stories. Find something that interests you and fits your talents and skills and share it with others, and you should find those interested in it. --GreenReaper(talk) 23:17, 12 March 2008 (UTC)
