Fauntastic
Fauntastic is a furry convention held near Lyon, France. Its first instance "Celtic Tales" was held May 30-June 2, 2019 at the Hôtel Vallée Bleue, Montalieu-Vercieu, with 174 attendees (87 fursuiters).[1]
Fauntastic's second instance, "Night of the Yōkai", was scheduled for 10-13 April 2020,[2] but was postponed first to 29 May-1 June 2020[3] and then 2-5 April 2021[4] due to COVID-19, it was finally postponned for 15-18 April 2022[5] with 286 attendees. It is to take place at the Double Tree Hilton Lyon Eurexpo in Saint-Priest, Rhône. A online convention, eFaun, was held on Discord during the afternoon and evening of April 11, 2020[6] and the 31 July 2021[7]
Fauntastic's third instance, "Wild in the street" was held 7-11 April 2023 at the same hotel with 338 attendees (144 fursuiters).[8]
Fauntastic's fourth instance, "Camp Critters" was held from 03/29 to 04/02 at Novotel Lyon Bron Eurexpo, with 488 registered attendees (204 fursuiters).[9]
Organization[edit]
Fauntastic is organized by Francofaune (W442016110), an association registered in Rhône represented by Gmorkh, the convention chair.[10]
