Dust: An Elysian Tail is a side-scrolling video game which was originally released on Xbox Live Arcade August 15, 2012. Dean Dodrill and his wife, Elizabeth, are the primary participants and funders in the animating, producing, directing and voice casting of both works. The video game is based on a story universe Dean Dodrill created.

Dust: An Elysian Tail revolves around a main character named Dust saving a village from oppression with the help of an ancient sword, accompanied by miniature nimbat sidekick Fidget.

A teaser of the game's pre-alpha build was released on YouTube in May 2009. A more advanced build of the game won a $40,000 grand prize at the September 2009 Microsoft XNA Dream-Build-Play competition, and was released to Xbox Live Arcade on August 15, 2012. The game makes an appearance at PAX East expo in Boston.

A Windows version was made available via Steam on May 24, 2013.[1]
