Department of Furry Safety (DFS) was a company that was created in 2004. DFS creates "Fursonal ID's" (furry convention badges that look like identification cards). The IDs include art by KwiK.

The company went on hiatus in May 2007 for a website and product redesign. It was unclear when the website would reopen. They were considering setting up shop on Second Life and possibly hiring other artists to participate.

DFS was relaunched as IdentiFUR around 2014.[1]
