Pinfo

pinfo (short for player information) or cinfo (short for character information) is a program on MUCKs that allows to provide globally accessible information about yourself. Though it is the same program, it provides two purposes:

1. pinfo - Out of character information
   This allows players to give real life information, such as contact info (e-mail, address), player name, birthday and OOC interests.

1. cinfo - In character information
   Here, players can provide background information about their character, such as history, origins, skills, home on the MUCK, IC interests and links to character pictures. In some MUCKs it is required to fill these fields.

The program has a number of fields to organise the information. Players can add custom fields. The exact list of fields varies from MUCK to MUCK and can be listed by typing cinfo #fields.
