Needs cleanup[edit]
Quoting User:Sine in the revision comment from (20:26, 6 December 2006): (Added cleanup tag; a category doesn't need nearly this much information, and the category seems too broad.)
- Please explain why this category is too broad, yet Category:Radio is not. Also, why not give an explanation of what should and should not be in a category? -- Siege(talk) 09:38, 9 December 2006 (UTC)
- I think Radio is even broader; it's get everything companies, shows, and people in there. That aside, this category reads like a stub article to me, and I don't percieve that as appropriate for a category. Why does a category need specific examples and instructions on how to access the material? -- Sine 22:38, 12 December 2006 (UTC)
- Okay, I went and had a look at Wikipedia:Category:Podcasting. I think I'm going to import Wikipedia:Template:Infobox_Podcast and also adjust the text in these two categories' descriptions. You would have made a much stronger point if you had provided examples of other category pages that fit your criteria (see Category:People for a category description with examples and instructions). -- Siege(talk) 01:42, 14 December 2006 (UTC)
