- Yes and no. An animator can also make still art - aren't we in the habit of removing parent categories if someone is already in a subcategory (aside from Category:People, anyway)? -- Siege(talk) 23:04, 12 April 2006 (UTC)
- As I understand it, we remove parent categories if the person is known only or very prominently for a sub(sub)category, such as a comic artist. -- Sine
