Cat on the Run is a short novel which was published by Windflower Communications in 1991, in paperback with ISBN 1895308003. The author and illustrator is Gloria Guenther, a resident of Langley, British Columbia, Canada.
Cat on the Run is the first-person story of Shalom, a young pedigree Siamese cat, who escapes from his city home and meets with various rough-edged and friendly stray cats, among them Subway Pete, Timid Gray, and Ugly Ben. Shalom also gets to know Simcha, another Siamese and a pampered but compassionate showcat.
