Carmine, also known as Joe Engledow, Jr.[1] (born March 27, 1974, died June 2nd, 2019),[2] was a koala furry artist who lived in Mountain View, California, U.S.A.[2]

Carmine first appeared on FurryMUCK in January, 1993. He chose the koala species because of his dismay at the number of the foxes, canines, and felines which were present on the MUCK at the time.

Publications[edit]

Carmine was the Creative Editor of Michaela's Midnight Letters. His artwork appeared in Foxes Are Neat issue #1.[3]
