Cara Mitten, full Cara J. Mitten, also known as Ironfeathers, SketchyFeathes, and Sassyparrot, is a professional illustrator and former Yerf contributor.

Art[edit]
Cara Mitten is known for her illustrations of fantasy monsters and avians characters and her attention to detail. Her earlier work featured a lot of gryphons and was mostly done in colored pencil, but her later work (after she began working for Dragon Magazine) was influenced by painter Anthony Waters, also on Yerf at one time.
As a professional illustrator, Cara Mitten has worked for Wizards of the Coast/Magic: the Gathering, White Wolf Publishing, Hero Games, and many other independent publishing companies.
