2020[edit]
Blue Ridge Furfare 2020 "Prom Weekend" took place March 12-15 at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Biltmore Village, Asheville, NC,[5] with artist OrlandoFox[6] as guest of honor. There were 639 attendees, with 198 fursuiters. BRFF is likely the last major furry convention to take place in-person before the COVID-19 pandemic caused mass cancellations or postponements of other furry events in 2020.
2021[edit]
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, BRFF 2021 was an online convention held March 12-14, 2021 on Livestream, Discord, and VRChat. The theme was "80's Retro Revive." Programming included pre-recorded and live panels, meetups, concerts, an online Dealer's Den, and virtual dance competition.[7]
2022[edit]
BRFF 2022 was themed "The Great Outdoors."[8][9] It was held March 11-13, 2022 at Crowne Plaza Hotels & Resorts Asheville[8] There were 883 attendees, 270+ fursuiters, and $4,610 raised for the charity Asheville Cat Weirdos.[10] Guest of Honor Remy Wolf drew the official BRFF 2022 shirt [11] and official BRFF 2022 poster.[12]
2023[edit]
On August 22, 2022, BRFF announced it did not have a suitable venue in Asheville for the con and 2023's event would once again be virtual.[13] The fourth iteration is scheduled for March 17-19, 2023, and the theme will be "Mainfurrame Meltdown."
