A biped is any being standing/walking on two legs.
Overview[edit]
Some animals that walk on two legs, especially if they do so with upright posture, have plantigrade stances (primates, bears) instead of almost all bipedal dinosaurs, including birds).
Biped and furry[edit]
It is very common for anthropomorphic and zoomorphic characters to be bipedal, and since walking on two legs requires certain adjustments to body proportions, sometimes furry characters are presented as plantigrade.
